RMIPA AIRPORT DIVISON

Amata Kabua International Airport (AKIA) is the main and busiest airport in the Marshall Islands. Located in the capital city of Majuro, AKIA serves as the primary international gateway to the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI).

Most international flights arrive and depart from AKIA, making it the central hub for travelers visiting our beautiful island nation. Whether you’re coming for business, adventure, or to experience our rich Pacific culture, your journey will likely begin right here.

In addition to AKIA, there are several smaller airstrips across neighboring outer islands, providing vital domestic connections throughout the country. These routes are primarily operated by Air Marshall Islands, offering regular domestic flights that link Majuro to communities across the atolls.

For international travel, passengers can currently book flights with United Airlines, which operates routes connecting the Marshall Islands to Honolulu and other Pacific destinations, and Nauru Airlines, providing regional connections across the Pacific.

Amata Kabua International Airport is more than just a transportation hub — it is the welcoming gateway to the heart of the Pacific.
